Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use this website, whatever their access needs. This statement explains our commitment and how to get in touch if something is not working for you.

Our commitment

We treat accessibility as a design requirement, not an afterthought. This website has been built to aim for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

What we have done

  • Colour combinations are chosen to meet AA contrast requirements for text and interface elements.
  • The site uses semantic HTML headings, landmarks and labels so it works with assistive technology.
  • All interactive elements are keyboard accessible, with clearly visible focus states.
  • A “skip to content” link is provided on every page.
  • Meaningful text alternatives are provided for non-text content, and links are written to make sense out of context.
  • We avoid conveying information by colour alone.
  • We respect the “reduced motion” setting and keep animation minimal and non-essential.
  • The layout is responsive and usable across desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile, with adequate touch-target sizes.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is never “finished”. We continue to test and improve, and we welcome feedback that helps us do better.

Site owner: confirm the date of your most recent accessibility review, note any known issues and their planned fixes, and state whether a formal audit has been carried out.
